Who am I? Why Real Estate?
I grew up in Massachusetts as the only child of a single, working mom. When I was 6 my mom bought her first house and I can still remember removing the wallpaper, and getting the new pink carpet installed before we moved in. A few years later, when I was 12, we moved again. This time I was able to attend open houses and go on home tours with her. We would sit on the living room floor together looking at the homes for sale in the newspaper. That was when I fell in love with houses.
In the years that followed I started drawing floor plans and reading decorating books. I went to college in Los Angeles to study architecture; and then I got side tracked and life happened. I found myself in a client services job at a tech company, I got married and had 2 incredible little girls, and we moved to Utah. All the while I continued to go to open houses and started to understand what mortgage rates meant and how location and school districts affected home prices.
Now, more than 25 years after looking at those newspapers with my mom, I am making the leap full time into real estate. After touring thousands of homes, driving through countless neighborhoods in MA, CA, NY and UT, and going through multiple real estate transactions as a principal, I am so excited to guide others through the process of buying and selling property.
Whether you are dreaming of your first home, looking to upgrade, or simply looking for ways to keep your home fresh, my hope is to be a resource, provide inspiration and guide you along the way.
